Quality Assurance and Procurement in Asia

    The AES Audio Product Education Institute presents a new webinar in its Supply Chain & Sourcing education pillar, this time addressing a topic in the minds of every brand, entrepreneur, and product manager: How to keep an eye over the supply chain, and how to deal with production supervision remotely, given the traveling restrictions. David Lindberg (DB Enterprises) and Mike Klasco (Menlo Scientific) invited two experienced consultants living in China to share their experiences working with audio manufacturers to ensure product quality, factory relationships, and reduce returns.

    Immersive Audio in Automobiles 2

      The AES Audio Product Education Institute promotes a second online session to explore Immersive Audio in automotive audio design and applications, and how these technologies enable the expansion of vehicle acoustic perceptions. Experts from DSP Concepts and Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS will discuss how immersive audio experiences are driving automotive audio speaker design, how existing formats are being used, and the challenges of tuning and distributing sound for the intended experience.

        The AES Audio Product Education Institute (APEI) presents the third webinar focusing on the practice and benefits of simulation-driven audio architecture by use of Digital Twins. On the first webinar, Wednesday, September 22 (12:00pm EDT), Ulrik Skov (Facebook Reality Labs), will offer an introduction to the concept of Digital Twins, and will detail his experience in front-loading a new Cross-Functional Acoustic Alignment approach to the product development and design process.
